Rouge 2015 - AOC Côtes de Provence - Cuvée Tradition
80% Syrah, 10% Mourvedre and 10% Cabernet-Sauvignon
Colour:Fairly light ruby red.
Nose: pure nose, fruity aromas, red berries.
Palate:Supple attack, good richness, rich, ripe tannins.
Ideal for both grilled and roasted meat.
On arrival, the grapes are destemmed to avoid an undesirable herby taste,
They are then vatted and heated for a few hours. This enhances the dissolution of aromas and flavours into the juice.
The wine is pressed following fermentation. Malolactic fermentation is followed by bottling and several months of cellaring.
Typically Provençal, it remains a benchmark. The white wine offers up wonderfully intense floral aromas, the rosé is very fruity and the red still supple and easy to drink.
